Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nash’at Mubarak Sliwa, President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahlam Dara Aziz, Director of the Center for Continuing Education, the Center for Continuing Education— in collaboration with the Laser and Photonics Center / Department of Remote Sensing and Nanophotonics— concluded the activities of the workshop titled “Agricultural Challenges and Solutions in the Nineveh Plain” on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The workshop, which commenced on Sunday, October 19, 2025, aimed to explore the types of agriculture and soil found in the Nineveh Plain. It also addressed key challenges facing agriculture in the region, such as desertification and migration.
